The Mantello Record is an independent publication based in Troy, New York.

Mayor Carmella Mantello won the 2023 mayoral race on a promise: “People over politics, ideas over ideology, competence over cronyism.” The purpose of this site is to measure that promise against her record in office.

This publication documents decisions, governance failures, and acts of overreach by Mayor Mantello and members of her administration. The sources are public meeting transcripts, local news coverage, and official city records. Every claim is linked to its source. No anonymous opinion appears here as fact.

This site has no affiliation with any political party, campaign, or elected official. It accepts no advertising. It is funded by no one but the person who runs it.
